For those days when you don’t need the caffeine, Decaf Colombia has your back. This coffee is perfect for an after-dinner cup or a slow morning.

Our Decaf Colombia is decaffeinated using sugarcane, which isn't just for sweetness. Ethyl acetate, a natural compound derived from sugarcane, extracts about 97% of the caffeine from green coffee beans while leaving most of the flavor intact. Colombia, a leader in both coffee and sugarcane decaf, makes its ethyl acetate from local sugarcane molasses. The beans are steamed and soaked in water and ethyl acetate over multiple cycles, then steamed again, dried, polished, and cleaned. The result keeps a delightful sweetness even after roasting, which enhances the natural sweetness and acidity of Colombian coffees.

This decaf comes from Huila, in the midwest of Colombia, where over 70,000 farmers grow Typica, Caturra, Castillo, and other varieties across some 15,000 hectares.
