Lindsay Bullis

Lindsay Bullis is a self-taught painter, muralist, and art instructor from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Using mainly acrylic paint on canvas as her medium she has spent years perfecting her technique to create a magical style that is uniquely her own. With the use of vibrant hues, realistic details, and soft blending she creates artwork that is captivating and dreamy. Nature, still life, and fantasy elements are often subjects of her work, combining them to create a unique visual experience that gives the viewer a sense of escapism, surrealism, and nostalgia. She also draws inspiration from her experience as a mother and uses it as a catalyst for creativity that is deeper in meaning. Lindsay uses painting to express her dreams, passions, and her own experience of the world around her and aims to create art that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also makes a statement.

She has shown her original works of art in local art galleries, art festivals, and competitions. She has been commissioned for residential and professional murals and teaches painting classes. Lindsay has been featured in online articles like Canvas Rebel and local newspapers (Menomonee Falls & Cedarburg) highlighting her work and in August of 2024, she won 2nd place and People's Choice Award for a sculpture painting competition that took place in Menomonee Falls. In addition, she competes in local plein air competitions annually.
