Carol Rode-Curley

Carol's passion for drawing was ignited by her father, an extraordinary cartoonist, sign painter, artist, and comedian. His creativity and talent deeply inspired her, making it seem natural for Carol to follow in his artistic footsteps. It never occurred to her to pursue any other path. Her work emerges from deep within, reflecting her dark side, her most evident thoughts, and her heartfelt emotions. When Carol draws, she often loses herself in the process, feeling as though she is not entirely present. This immersive experience results in pieces that are raw and genuine.

Once a drawing is complete, Carol leaves it to the viewer to determine its significance. To her, the act of creation is paramount; once the artwork is finished, it is released into the world, carrying with it whatever meaning the viewer finds in it.
