Anne Raskopf

Anne is a Fine Arts painter originally from rural Wisconsin, whose work is deeply inspired by the state’s natural landscapes—prairies, fields, farmlands and small towns.. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Anne was influenced by renowned professors Donald Reitz, a master ceramicist, and Richard Long, a skilled drawing teacher. Throughout her career, living and working across the country has enriched her artistic perspective.

Now primarily focused on modern landscapes, Anne’s paintings reflect a personal connection to the natural world, particularly the beauty and serenity of hiking and trail riding in Wisconsin. Through each piece, they strive to imbue the landscape with emotional depth, blending personal experience with the raw beauty of nature.

A brief journey north, just off the highway, transports you to the picturesque town of Grafton, WI, boasting charming mom-and-pop shops, delectable dining choices, and the renowned Fiddleheads Coffee café. Anne skillfully encapsulates the inviting ambiance of our café nestled in the heart of Grafton's lively community.

This piece, along with the 24 other original works of art in the Barista See collection, can be seen on display at Fiddleheads in the BMO Tower in Milwaukee, WI
