Colombia is the world's most spectacularly diverse coffee country with the vast majority of coffee cultivated, harvested, and processed on small family-owned farms. This year's lot comes from the region of Huila located in Southern Colombia. Nestled on the flank of the Andes near the Nevado de Huila volcano, the rich volcanic soil and high altitude regularly produce some of Colombia's highest quality coffee.
We roast this year's lot of Colombia coffee to a medium profile which highlights the subtle floral aromas, brings out the balanced yet juicy acidity while accentuating its heavy body. Flavor notes of chocolate, ripe dark cherry, cola, and cocoa really make this coffee an enjoyable treat any time of day.
